WAW - October
October 2008 - Web Analytics Wednesday - London
Last night was the 10th Web Analytics Wednesday (WAW) event to be managed and sponsored by SCL Analytics. The event was co-sponsored by Coremetrics who also provided the use of their user conference venue.
Over 250 people registered and a 180 people turned-up on the night.

Speakers at the event included Mark Simpson from Maxymiser, Ewald Hoppen from Wehkamp.nl (a huge online retailer in the Netherlands) and Eric T. Peterson (Web Analytics Demystified).
The presentations tended (by plan) towards Multivariate testing and the impact that it can have on results.
For me the take-home point was from Ewald, with the statement "testing does not harm performance/conversions". I don't think I need to add to that.
The next London WAW will be in January - details from the January London WAW page.
